Gather pictures from the past. Write the story of how you met. Get it printed and bound.
Go to a diner for lunch. Sit on the same side of a restaurant booth. Share a ice-cream sundae or a smoothie or french fries.
During Christmas holidays or Halloween, drive around looking at the decorations on the houses (drive in the best neighborhoods with the best decorations and compare what you both like). Then go to the store and buy some decorations and decorate one of your rooms or house together.
Take the time to make a CD of favorite love songs. Go dancing down by the riverfront, lake, or ocean with a CD player and slow dance until the sun goes down. Watch the stars come out, and talk about your dreams for the future.
Take a sunrise hike, and cook breakfast at the end of the trip. Plan your hike so that you begin just as the sun is rising.
Watching a lightning storm while inside cuddled up on a couch.
Get two cameras, and spilt up. Take pictures of places that bring back good memories of times together. Or take pictures of places that describe qualities of the other person. For example, if the person is sweet, take a picture of your local candy store. Once you've had the pictures developed, compare them over dinner, while recalling fond memories you've had together.
Spend a Sunday evening reading a few chapters in scriptures or a few spiritual stories. Afterwards, have a spiritual discussion together. This is a way to deepen your relationship.
Surprise your date with massage oils. Let him/her pick a favorite scented oil, which you can find at a health food store or some drug stores. Warm the oil by rubbing a small amount between your hands. Start with the neck and shoulders, gently rubbing to relax, without rubbing too hard. Then work your way down each arm until you reach the hands. Massage between each finger. Repeat with his/her feet and toes.
Go sailing. Many marinas along the coast have different kinds of sailing and motorized yachts to rent by the hour. These packages include the captain, food, entertainment, and many other extras that you may or may not want to pay for (i.e. fishing, candle-lit dinner, etc.).
Make a treat together, then take it to a crabby neighbor. Leave a note, wishing them a happy day.
Take a fruit plate to elderly people in your neighborhood. Explain that you'd like to share some food and fun with them. Share some humorous stories, then offer to play a game (Chinese checkers is a good one). Ask them to share the story of how they met, and their favorite date.
Rent a snowmobile and ride to your favorite area. Take lunch and hot cocoa. Make sure someone knows your itinerary, or plan your trip with another couple.
Create a message inviting your spouse for a romantic getaway (cut the invitation into pieces) and send it a few pieces at a time during the week. Or you can put the pieces into balloons and cover his/her floor with the balloons. Pack both your bags, get someone to watch the kids, and go away for at least two nights.
